“…5a–e, the intervention of CNTs and the support of the SA-skeleton worked as pillars and prevented the restacking of MXene layers, resulting in an anisotropic porous microstructure with a high surface area of the obtained CNTs/Ti 3 C 2 –SA foam, which yielded lightweight and low-density EMW absorbing materials, and promoted the secondary and multiple absorption of incident EMW by providing multiple scattering and reflection sites 109,110 for the interior of EMW absorbing materials (prevent the transmission of EMW). Simultaneously, the uniformly distributed MXene/CNTs interlayers in the SA foam are tightly bonded to the SA matrix and establish a 3D conductive network through the support of the SA skeleton, which further provides electron hopping sites and transmission paths for the conductive network with the intrinsic conductivity differences between MXene and CNTs, 111,112 laying the foundation for the appropriate conductive loss to play a significant role in promoting the dielectric properties of EMW absorbing materials.
