On three-dimensional coupled bosons

Abstract: In this work we study two complex scalar fields coupled through a quadratic interaction in 2 + 1 dimensions using the method of bilinears as suggested by Rajeev[8]. The resulting theory can be formulated as a classical theory. We study the linear approximation, and show that there is a possible bound state in a range of coupling constants.
