Abstract: The vertical behavior of Fiber Reinforced Elastomeric Isolators (FREIs) is controlled by geometric and mechanical parameters, such as primary and secondary shape factors, shear modulus of the rubber and effective compressive modulus of the rubber-reinforcements compound.
