Abstract:The taxonomy of the genus Megadiaptomus Kiefer is briefly reviewed, including the description of a new species under the name Megadiaptomuspseudohebes n. sp. and also the supplementary description of M. hebes Kiefer. Further, the generic relationships are pointed out, the generic definition is revised, and a key to the identification of both sexes of the two species is given.
