On the Structure of the Small-Scale Atmospheric Turbulence Near the Ground

Abstract: Using a hot-wire anemometer with a very small time-constant and a cathode-ray oscillograph, the wind speed in every 1/400 sec was observed, from which the auto-correlation and the power spectra were calculated. The results of the theory of local isotropy do not seem to be applicable to the present observation.
