Abstract:Abstract-Secure multipath transmission (MPT) uses network path redundancy to achieve privacy in the absence of public-key encryption or any shared secrets for symmetric encryption. Since this form of secret communication works without secret keys, the risk of human failure in key management naturally vanishes, leaving security to rest only on the network management. Consequently, MPT allows for secure communication even under hacker attacks, on condition that at least some parts of the network remain intact (u… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
