On the Performance of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface Aided Power Line Communication System Under Different Relay Transmission Protocols

Abstract: In this paper, the performance analysis of a dual-hop reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-aided power line communication (PLC) system is presented under different relay transmission protocols. The relay is assumed to be decode-and-forward (DF) or amplify-and-forward (AF) relaying protocol.
