Anna Cornelia Reinhardt beleuchtet in ihrem Beitrag das soziale Phänomen der Vorbereitungsklassen im Rahmen eines situationsanalytisch informierten Forschungsansatzes und präsentiert eine relationale Untersuchungsperspektive für die erziehungswissenschaftliche Migrationsforschung. Vorbereitungsklassen werden in diesem Kontext heuristisch und konzeptionell als komplexe Übergangssituationen rekonstruiert. Die Autorin verdeutlicht, dass die Betrachtung des relationalen Zustandekommens von Übergangssituationen eine Dekonstruktion von institutionell gerahmten Übergängen in der Migrationsgesellschaft ermöglicht und es erlaubt, die damit verbundenen Wissens- und Machtzusammenhänge reflexiv zu hinterfragen.
