On the identity of European Baridini (Coleoptera, Curculionoidea) named before 1832

Abstract: Twenty-nine names of European weevils usually regarded as Baridini in the literature are checked. Neotypes are designated for Curculio coerulescens Scopoli, 1763 (emend.), C.
