On the Hypolipidemic Activity of Elicited Soybeans: Evidences Based on Computational Analysis

Abstract: Dietary intervention plays a significant role in regulating hyperlipidemia. Besides, elicited soybean has greater bioactive contents with numerous health benefits potential. However, there is no evidence of the hypolipidemic activity of elicited soybean. This study will explore the potential mechanism of hypolipidemic activity of bioactive compounds from elicited soybean through computational modeling. The phytocompounds from elicited soybean were identified by Liquid Chromatography-High Resolution Mass Spectr… Show more

“…This study used several predictors to determine protein structural stability and integrity, including the Root-Mean-Square Deviation (RMSD) of backbone atoms, the Root-Mean-Square Fluctuation (RMSF) of residues, and the Solvent Accessible Surface Area (SASA). 33 , 36 , 48 The RMSD of ligand conformation evaluates ligand conformational stability. In contrast, ligand movement and the number of hydrogen bonds were used to assess the binding stability of the ligands to their respective receptors.…”

“…YASARA 20.12.24 was employed to perform the molecular dynamics analysis (Krieger & Vriend 2015). The system was set as the previous study (Hermanto et al 2022): pH 7.4; 0.9% NaCl concentration; 0.997 water density; 1 atm pressure, and 310°K temperature, cubic grid shape, 50 ns simulation time under AMBER14 forcefield (Maier et al 2015).…”

“…Not only are they a staple food in several regions of the globe, but legumes also provide valuable nutritional and health benefits (Polak et al 2015;Piergiovanni 2021). The consumption of legumes has been reported to have protective roles against modern society's health problems, such as diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, and cardiovascular diseases (Polak et al 2015;Hermanto et al 2022a;Hermanto et al 2022b). Furthermore, the bioactive compounds in legumes also provide numerous biological activities to achieve physiological homeostasis (Çakir et al 2019).…”
