Abstract:A detailed numerical study about the planar incident shock wave impinging on heavy bubbles with different components and nested structures was conducted. Results show that the shock wave convergence occurs when the incident shock wave impinging on the pure SF6 bubble or CO2-SF6 nested bubbles, which triggers the shock wave focusing and obtains a high transient pressure.
