On the Exponential Stability of Some Nonlinear Systems

Abstract: By using Lyapunov functions, we obtain, for the first time, necessary and sufficient conditions for the exponential stability of some nonlinear systems of differential and difference equations. In the present paper, we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the global exponential stability and exponential instability for one class of nonlinear systems of differential and difference equations. We investigate the exponential stability of perturbed systems with nonlinear first approximation.Note that the p… Show more

“…14 Recently, problems of necessary and sufficient conditions of nonlinear systems have attracted much attention from researchers. [15][16][17] Bernstein 18 developed sufficient conditions for asymptotic stability and optimality of nonlinear systems. Combined Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation (HJBE) and Lyapunov theorem, the asymptotic stability and optimality were guaranteed for nonlinear systems.…”
