On the Effects of Human Parotid Saliva and ‘Parotin’ on the Functional Activities of the Gastric Peptic, the Pancreatic and the Liver Cells

Abstract: The fact that parotid saliva has an anti-histamic action was proved by the experiments 1. in which the human parotid saliva obtained aseptically was tested in vitro (FUJIE), 2. in which the parotid glands of rats were extirpated (NAKAO) and 3. in which the parotid ducts of rats were ligated (FUJIKI).
