On the Effect of Nucleation Undercooling on Phase Transformation Kinetics

Abstract: We carry out an extensive comparison between Johnson-Mehl-Avrami-Kolmogorov (JMAK) theory of firstorder phase transformation kinetics and phase-field (PF) results of a benchmark problem on nucleation.
