On the discrepancy between eddy covariance and lysimetry-based surface flux measurements under strongly advective conditions

Abstract: Discrepancies can arise among surface flux measurements collected using disparate techniques due to differences in both the instrumentation and theoretical underpinnings of the different measurement methods.
