On the Determination Load Capacities Tires of Ultralow Pressure

Abstract: Dependence proposed establishing a link between dimensions tire low pressure and load capacity. This dependence allows for preliminary engineering calculations with sufficient accuracy and significantly reduce the time spent in the justification of carrying capacity of large low-pressure tires.

Comparative engineering and performance characteristics of domestic and best foreign truck tires by “Michelin” company by dimension 315/60R22,5 , both for control and drive tires are given. So as for tires by dimension 315/80R22,5 , both control and drive ones. Performance tests were made both in stand and lab conditions, so as in trial conditions in similar conditions on the certified equipment. The evaluation of tires was made according to the GOST demands 5513-97.As the result comparative characteristics of domestic and best foreign truck tires by “Michelin” company were achieved.

In article results of theoretical researches according to smoothing capacity of trunks of the extra-low pressure are resulted. Dependence of length of a spot of contact on its design data, loads and pressure of air is received. It is established, that trunks of the extra-low pressure possess greater smoothing capacity in comparison with other types of trunks, owing to it decreases vibration loading dynamic system.
