On the convergence to local limit of nonlocal models with approximated interaction neighborhoods

Abstract: Many nonlocal models have adopted a finite and radially symmetric nonlocal interaction domains. When solving them numerically, it is sometimes convenient to adopt polygonal approximations of such interaction domains.
