On Research, Creation, and Testing of Devices for Electronic Deployment of Permanent Continuous Analog Visible Recording of Low–Frequency Processes

Abstract: Mechanical methods of deployment of permanent, continuous analog visible recording of signals complicate the design of analog recorders and light–beam oscilloscopes with the continuous visible recording of low–frequency processes and periodic output of recording frames, reduce their reliability and accuracy, make it difficult to adjust deployment steps, increase power and dimensions, and also lead to additional geometrical and optical errors in light–beam oscilloscopes. “…Based on the above analysis, we would like to state that in our opinion it will be very prospective to modernize electrographic light-beam oscillographs with visible analog recording in ordinary papers and implement them in seismic stations for analog visible recording of seismic signals simultaneously with digital recording systems. We have been engaged in the development, experimental production, and testing of various seismic recorders and electrographic oscillographs for many years (see, e.g., [33,[36][37][38][39] and their references), and now we have decided to develop modernized seismic electrographic oscillographs especially using the contemporary technological and constructive solutions of modern xerocopiers and printers, essentially by making the needed algorithmic, software, optical and constructive changes in them. We plan after the successful completion of the planned R&D works suggest implementing such oscillographs in seismic stations simultaneously with digital recording systems, which will provide an opportunity to obtain light beam analog continuous recording and periodic output of visible seismograms or selective emergency express visible recording with an intermediate memory of seismic or other low-frequency signals on a simple paper.…”
