On-Orbit Radiometric Performance of GF-7 Satellite Multispectral Imagery

Abstract: China’s first civilian, sub-meter, high-resolution stereo mapping satellite, GF-7, launched on 3 November 2019. Radiometric characterization of GF-7 multispectral imagery has been performed in this study. A relative radiometric accuracy evaluation of the GF-7 multispectral imagery was performed using several large uniform scenes, and the results showed that the accuracy is better than 2%.
