Abstract:Specimens of poroid Hymenochaetaceae with uniquely strigose pileus surfaces were collected and studied morphologically and phylogenetically (using as markers ITS and nrLSU ribosomal DNA). Detailed morphological examination showed that the specimens belong to two distinct species of Fuscoporia.
