On Myringoplasty by Endoaural Method

Abstract

Authors considered about the closure of the tympanic membrane that was attempted by many former otologist.And authors described our myringoplasty which was done by endoaural method.The results are as follows :1) 18 cases of 20 cases have been repaired by authors' method.2) Authors failed in two cases. The failure caused due to poor technique in one and due to infection in another.3) On an average, the pstoperative hearing improvement at the speech frequencies range was 10.9db as compared with the preoperative hearing.
