Abstract:We have developed two new methods that use sparse recovery and active learning techniques for near real-time artifact identification and removal in EEG recordings. The first algorithm, called Correlated Sparse Signal Recovery (CSSR) addresses the problem of structured sparse signal recovery when statistical rather than exact properties describing the structure of the signal are appropriate, as in the elimination of eye movement artifacts; such tasks cannot be done efficiently using structured models that assum… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
