Abstract:Caryl Churchill, in Vinegar Tom, discloses the social plight of marginalized and powerless women through her innovative theatrical methods. The episodic scenes, coupled with cross-cast doubling and contemporary songs, contribute to the formation of a plurality of theatrical implication.
