The conceptual foundations of monitoring the state’s food security system under the conditions of global turbulence have been deepened. It was determined that the set of indicators of the state of food security used in national practice is imperfect. It is emphasized that the totality of indicators cannot objectively contribute to identifying potential threats to sustainable development and adopting effective management decisions. Attention is focused on the need to consider the impact of other components, including the issues of the accessibility, availability, quality, and safety of food products, as well as their resilience and adaptability. The hypothesis regarding the direct relationship between the degree of compliance of agricultural production in the country with sustainable development principles and the overall level of economic accessibility of food has been proved. The established and mathematically proven direct relationship between the indicators made it possible to emphasize the need to raise the population’s living standards. This is necessary to reduce the negative impact of the production of agricultural products on the environment, which results from the understanding by consumers of the need to satisfy not only basic needs but also to preserve natural resources for future generations. It is mathematically proven that in countries with a high level of economic accessibility of food, the compliance of agricultural production with sustainable development principles has a high level and is strongly correlated with economic factors. In countries with medium and low indicators of economic accessibility of food, such a relationship does not have statistical significance. The conclusions drawn are useful for practical use in conditions of global economic turbulence.

La seguridad alimentaria se considera como un derecho universal de las personas para acceder a alimentos. Los niveles de inseguridad alimentaria en los últimos años se han transformado en un problema de estudio dentro del desarrollo social. El objetivo de este estudio es identificar la relación entre factores sociodemográficos y niveles de seguridad alimentaria mediante técnicas multivariadas. Estudio de corte transversal con un alcance asociativo, datos recopilados entre diciembre del 2020 y febrero 2021. La base de datos consta de 4668 observaciones válidas. El estudio se realizó de acuerdo con la Declaración de Helsinki y cuenta con la aprobación de un comité de ética en seres humanos. El procesamiento de datos y el análisis multivariado se utilizó software Python y R. Como estadísticos se utilizó Chi cuadrado, V de Crammer, Lambda, Gamma. D Somers y análisis de correspondencias múltiples. El 31% de las personas corresponde al sexo masculino mientras que el 69% al femenino, el 34% de los hogares encuestados presenta una inseguridad alimentaria severa, el 14% leve y el 46% seguridad alimentaria. Respecto a la ocupación, el mayor porcentaje de inseguridad se encuentra en los estudiantes con un 19.4.%, nivel de educación superior con un 23%. Las variables ordinales que mejor se asocian con la seguridad alimentaria son número de Personas que viven en casa, Ingreso económicos y cambios de Ingresos durante la pandemia. Las variables nominales, retraso en pagos y perdida de trabajo estadísticamente, presenta una asociación con los niveles de inseguridad alimentaria. De acuerdo con los coeficientes de D Somers y Lambda respectivamente, las variables descritas permiten predecir los niveles de seguridad alimentaria. Estadísticamente, no todas las características sociodemográficas predicen los niveles de seguridad alimentaria. Por lo que las políticas públicas deben centrarse en los aspectos de mayor riesgo para reducir la inseguridad alimentaria.
