On Defending Controversial Viewpoints: Debates of Sixth Graders About the Desirability of Early 20th‐Century American Immigration

Abstract: Sixth-grade students with and without mild disabilities participated in an eight-week projectbased investigation about immigration to the United States in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
