Daily intake of O3PUFAs also appears to have positive health effects in both female and male nurses: after O3PUFAs intake for eight consecutive weeks, both genders had lower diurnal saliva cortisol concentrations and reported diminished symptoms of occupational burnout, including reduced emotional exhaustion and increased feelings of personal accomplishment [ 221 ].
