Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids preserve retinal function in type 2 diabetic mice

Abstract: Objective:Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is associated with hyperglycemia-driven microvascular pathology and neuronal compromise in the retina. However, DR is also linked to dyslipidemia.
