Om diagnostic for dilaton dark energy

Abstract: Om diagnostic can differentiate between different models of dark energy without the accurate current value of matter density. We apply this geometric diagnostic to dilaton dark energy (DDE) model and differentiate DDE model from LCDM. We also investigate the influence of coupled parameter α on the evolutive behavior of Om with respect to redshift z. According to the numerical result of Om, we get the current value of equation of state ω σ 0 = −0.952 which fits the WMAP5+BAO+SN very well.

“…The Om(z) diagnostic [39] has been proposed to differentiate C DM to other DE models. Many authors [71][72][73] have studied the DE models based on Om(z) diagnostic. Its constant behaviour with respect to z represents that DE is a cosmological constant ( C DM).…”

“…Om has zero, negative and positive curvatures for ΛCDM , quintessence and phantom models, respectively. Many authors [83][84][85] have studied the DE models based on Om(z) diagnostic. Following Sahni et al [82], Om(z) for spatially flat universe is defined as…”
