Oligothiophene Amphiphiles as Planarizable and Polarizable Fluorescent Membrane Probes

Abstract: Hummerfärbung und die Chemie des Sehens lieferten Inspiration für Fluoreszenzsonden, die auf Membranpotential, Fluidität und Spannung reagieren. Entplanarisierung durch Erhöhung des sterischen Anspruchs entlang des Gerüstes (rote Kreise) und Fluorophorpolarisierung durch endständige Donoren (D) und Akzeptoren (A) sowie Ladung (+) werden gekoppelt, um solche Sonden zu erhalten, wie Studien mit unilamellaren Vesikeln aus Phospholipiden (DOPC, DPPC) zeigen.
