Olanzapine for the Prevention of Chemotherapy-Induced Nausea and Vomiting in Autologous Hematopoietic Cell Transplant

Abstract

Stem cell collection efficiency to collect minimum cell dose was comparable between the two groups at 91% and 89% (P = .804) in the 4 pm and 10 pm groups, respectively. Preferred CD34 + cell goal was achieved in 57% and 53% of patients in the 4 pm and 10 pm groups, respectively. The median number of plerixafor doses (1 dose) and apheresis days (2 days) were equal in both groups. The median total CD34 + cells collected was comparable between both groups with 5.677 × 10^6 cells/kg in the 4 pm group and 5.34 × 10^6 cells/kg in the 10 pm group. There was no difference in engraftment kinetics. Late afternoon administration of plerixafor provides efficient stem cell mobilization. (Table 1
