OISTI (an Oral-Interface System to provide Tourist-Information inside a car)

Abstract

In this puper, we present U positioning system implemented in JA VA designed to provide tourist information for cur users. Most of this multimedia information is stored in U locul dutubuse in the cur, but it is possible to increuse or updute it by uccessing U remote dutubuse by mobile telephone. The system cun be controlled like uny stundurd computer by keybourd or by mouse, but also offers U hund-fee control bused in an orul-interface module very importunt for U system designed to be used inside U cur.
