Abstract:The nanoporous structure of oil-impregnated porous copper is closely related to its tribological and oil-retention properties, which are essential for its anti-friction and anti-wear, and long-lasting lubrication. In this study, different component Cu-Al precursors were obtained via plasma-activated sintering, followed by a dealloying method to obtain bulk nanoporous copper with different porosities. The effect of the nanoporous structure on oil-retention capacity and tribological properties was investigated. … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
