Oil Extraction from Rana catesbeiana by Supercritical Carbon Dioxide and Mechanical Pressing

Abstract: Oil extraction from the fat body of bullfrog (FBB) using supercritical carbon dioxide through supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) and mechanical pressing (ME) was assessed. ME extraction was performed within a temperature range from 40 to 90 C and the SFE at 40 C and 15 MPa.
