ODP480 Failure to achieve remission post Radioactive iodine therapy

Abstract: Background Radioactive iodine-131 (RAI) therapy is used to treat hyperthyroidism secondary to toxic multinodular goiter (TMNG) and Graves’ Disease (GD). The treatment failure (TF) rate for RAI as reported in previous studies is 8-16% (1).
