Ocular–Oral Synkinesis Without Facial Palsy After Trauma: A Case Report

Abstract: Ocular–oral synkinesis refers to the unintended contraction of the perioral muscles during voluntary eye closure. This phenomenon can either be congenital or occasionally develop during recovery from facial palsy. In this study, we report a case of ocular–oral synkinesis without facial palsy after trauma.
