Abstract: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease that affects multiple organs and systems. Ocular involvement is estimated to manifest in one-third of individuals with SLE, of which lupus retinopathy and choroidopathy represent the severe subtype accompanied by vision impairment.
