“…A study of antibodies to SARS‐CoV‐2 in sera of domestic cats post‐pandemic in Moscow in 2020 showed 10% were positive for IgG against SARS‐CoV‐2 RBD and five pre‐pandemic Moscow cat sera from 2018 (2.9% of 172 cat sera assessed) were also IgG‐positive for SARS‐CoV‐2 RBD; conversely, no pre‐pandemic domestic cat samples from the Russian Far East were seropositive (Lebedin et al., 2021).
