Abstract:The purpose of this study was to investigate the occurrence of non-typhoidal Salmonella (NTS) and the distributed serotypes in New Valley and Assiut provinces. Eight hundred samples were collected (280 from New Valley and 520 from Assiut) from different sources including fecal swabs (160), raw milk (80), Damietta cheese (80), Kareish cheese (80), ice cream (80), yoghurt (80), stool samples (170) and hand swabs (70).
