Occupational Exposure to Ionizing Radiation Is Associated with Autoimmune Thyroid Disease

Abstract: We conclude that occupational exposure to ionizing radiation is related to the risk of AITD. The usage of thyroid protection shields by radiation workers is strongly recommended.
