Abstract:Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome is a common condition, especially among obese patients. Patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome have an increased risk of developing arterial hypertension and cardiovascular events, as well as cardiac arrhythmias, which include reflexively occurring bradyarrhythmias and episodes of asystole at night.
