“…For example, several BHP patients in the present series who also had diabetic neuropathy benefited from nandrolone phenpropionate (Durabolin) as a therapeutic adjunct. Moreover, when urinary symptoms are largely the consequence of diabetic neuropathy or stroke, a course of nandrolone—as described previously (56, 57)—is justified.…”

“…The following experiences with this recent group indicate the broader potential of C.S. therapy: 1) local infiltration into the involved lower chest areas, along with parenteral administration of nandrolone (16), resulted in considerable symptomatic benefit to 2 elderly women with severe postherpetic neuralgia of more than one year's duration (one having been subjected to a fruitless sympathectomy); 2) a second patient with severe headaches of seven months' duration and exquisitely tender anterior temporal arteries obtained prompt and persistent benefit after a single infiltration into the adventitia of each vessel; and 3) an elderly diabetic female, bedridden with osteoporosis, obtained prompt and persistent relief of coccygodynia following a single infiltration of C.S. into the area of maximal coccygeal tenderness.…”

“…Nandrolone phenpropionate (Durabolin) was helpful in managing symptoms of peripheral neuropathy—particularly among diabetic patients—after standard measures (viz, vitamin B 12 parenterally, multivitamins and the avoidance of leg crossing) proved ineffective (6, 35, 36). Initially nandrolone phenpropionate was injected into the deltoid area every five to seven days.…”
