“…The sub-size samples were tested in the standard "Instron-1195" machine. Previously this machine was used at Kurchatov Institute to investigate mechanical properties of superconducting wires and windings at low temperatures and it is worthwhile to note that the serrated yielding of superconducting windings at LN 2 temperature was observed in these tests [2]. The full-size tubes were tested in the home-made F-250 machine.…”
