Oblicza psychologii religii w Polsce

Abstract

The phenomenon of religiosity is increasingly often explored by representatives of various scientific disciplines. This is particularly noticeable in the field of the psychology of religion. The issues of human religiosity have been attracting an increasing amount of interest among Polish scholars. The present article presents the main trends illustrating the development of interest in the phenomenon of religiosity in the field of psychology. Both Polish and international contexts are consid-ered. Additionally, the papers included in the special issue of Roczniki Psychologiczne (Annals of Psychology) are outlined. The special issue is devoted to the problems addressed by Polish psychologists interested in the phenomenon of human religiosity.

Religiosity of the blind and crisis in valuing

“…Ustalono, że trudności uporządkowania indywidualnego systemu wartości w hierarchię sprzyjają rzadszej poznawczej i intelektualnej konfrontacji z treściami religijnymi, słabszemu przeżywaniu religijności jako aktywnej rzeczywistości i elementu ludzkiego doświadczenia oraz mniej intensywnemu uczestnictwu w praktykach religijnych o charakterze sformalizowanym. Ujawniony układ zależności między zmiennymi wpisuje się w nurt badań J. Śliwaka, B. Zarzyckiej i R. Rak 25 , którzy zauważyli, że trudności uporządkowania systemu wartości w hierarchię powiązane są ujemnie z jedną z relacji religijnych, a mianowicie współhumanitarnością, oznaczającą ukierunkowanie na Boga poprzez ukierunkowanie na człowieka. Z badań wynika także, że dezintegracja wartości współwystępuje z rzadszym podejmowaniem praktyk religijnych o charakterze osobistym (modlitwa) oraz słabszym zaangażowaniem religijnym i traktowaniem sfery transcendentnej jako wiodącej i centralnej w życiu.…”

“…W literaturze przedmiotu dużo uwagi poświęca się powiązaniom zachodzącym pomiędzy religijnością a wartościami. Potwierdzają je prace licznych autorów 10 , mniej uwagi natomiast zwraca się na analogiczne analizy w kontekście kryzysu w wartościowaniu 11 . Zdaniem P. Olesia 12 , kryzys wartości, jako przejściowy stan trudności lub zaburzeń w procesie wartościowania, cechuje się napięciem, niepokojem i dezintegracją psychiczną.…”
