Objective Evaluation of Oral and Pharyngeal Areas in Autopsy Cases of Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome via Postmortem CT

Abstract: Background: Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) can cause sudden death during sleep. Previous findings have suggested that OSAS development is related to maxillofacial morphology.
