Objectification and Sensibility: A Critical Look at Sexism as Subtext in Postfeminist Advertising

Abstract: This paper explores the phenomenon of sex in advertising to understand the relationship between objectification of gender, sex, sexuality and representations of femininity through advertising subtexts, processes and discourses.
