“…With the end of MDGs in 2015, there emerged the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) (2016–2030) through the resolution adopted at the UN General Assembly in September 2015, with the title “Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”. In this resolution, the following declaration was made by UN member states: “We, the Heads of State and Government and High Representatives, meeting at United Nations Headquarters in New York from 25 to 27 September 2015… have decided today on new global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” (United Nations, 2015).
