Obesity and Left Ventricular Dilatation in Young Adulthood: The Bogalusa Heart Study

Abstract: Background: Cardiac enlargement is an important predictor of adverse cardiovascular (CV) events. Left ventricular (LV) dilatation is a precursor both of LV dysfunction and clinical heart failure.
