Obesity and diabetes accelerate hepatocarcinogenesis via hepatocyte proliferation independent of NF-kB or Akt/mTORC1

Abstract: Background: There are strong links between obesity, diabetes and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), but molecular mechanisms remain unclear.
