O teletrabalho como alternativa de atuação para o profissional da informação no contexto das bibliotecas digitais

Abstract

The research addresses the feasibility of telecommuting in the performance of professional information in the context of digital libraries, based on the idea that the digital library has characteristics conducive to the practice of telecommuting and taking into account that both deal directly with the technologies of information and communication (ICT) and the virtualization of time and space. Looks over the origins of the digital library and telecommuting, identifying technologies and studying the role of business in each of the contexts. Through a case study Digital Legal Library (BDJur) of the Superior Court of Justice (STJ), makes use of the profile questionnaire officials, examines the technological environment and the services and activities performed by BDJur, thus evaluating the possibility of implementing telecommuting in the environment.
