O Que Pensam Os Profissionais Da Estratégia Saúde Da Família Sobre O Acolhimento

Abstract

The objective of this study was to know the opinion of nurses, nurses and nursing assistants about the user embracement. It is a qualitative and exploratory study carried out with 66 professionals of the mentioned categories, working in 6 basic health units (UBSs) in the south zone of São Paulo. Participants answered questions that were analyzed using the Collective Subject Discourse (DSC) method. The results showed that: 47% of the respondents observed the user embracement as a huge entrance door to the health service; 14% consider the action confusing; 13% believe that this is a resolutive service to be performed by all. Most of the responses point to a lack of preparation for task performance. It is verified that the professional training is a way for the practice of the user embracement to consolidate according to what is predicted in the Unified Health System. The continuity of research on the user embracement is very important for the adaptation and strengthening of changes in the practice for both users and services, since it is admittedly the great gateway to health services.
